Corné Huntink – Corthogreen

Sustainable growth – literally and figuratively. Corthogreen, based in Terborg, makes seed packets, ribbons, and other promotional materials with a green feel. But the family business does more: they also offer opportunities to people who are distanced from the labor market. Forty colleagues now contribute to the company's success through this route. Jaap Jongejan – Zonheuvel Estate

Finding good people is difficult. But at Zonheuvel Estate, they do things differently. James and Edison—both living in an asylum seekers' center—were given a chance to work in the scullery. Not as a stopgap, but as a conscious choice. Jaap: "We don't talk about staff here; we work with people."

Zonheuvel partners with Untapped Talents to arrange everything: from obtaining a BSN (citizen service number) to on-the-job support. And yes, it requires commitment. But, says Jaap: "What employer these days shouldn't make an effort to hire good people?" Read the full article on VNO-NCW Midden .
