IKEA en Refugee talent Hub zijn sinds 2021 partners. Via het programma Skills for Employment (2021-2023) biedt het woonwarenhuis leerwerkstages aan voor talenten met een vluchtelingenachtergrond in verschillende winkels door het hele land. Ook beĂŻnvloedt IKEA de beeldvorming rondom vluchtelingen en werk via het 'changing de narrative' programma.

Met het Skills for Employment programma wil IKEA het soms ingekaderde beeld van vluchtelingen wereldwijd veranderen. IKEA richt zich op het potentieel van mensen en niet op iemands achtergrond. Samen met Refugee Talent Hub hebben we bij IKEA ons werkervaringsprogramma voor verschillende niveaus en functies vorm kunnen geven om talenten met een vluchtelingenachtergrond voor te bereiden op een duurzame plaats op de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt.
